Great little restaurant. I think the owner was there the day we were very ealy in the morning. Had the apple fritters to die for ... we loved it, after a long bike ride from Cambridge to Paris...it's just what the doctor ordered..
We were greeted and were welcomed as soon as we came in and this place is a little jem. We will go back again and again....keep in mind when you read these reviews, it's so much easier for many people in general to have a tendency to complain rather then to compliment. It's just in some people's nature to complain , nothing is ever good enough,

I recently had lunch (3rd time) at Envers of Morriston, and WOW. What an amazing little secret just south of Guelph. The food was amazing, and watching the Chefs walk out to the garden and get the vegetables and herbs that were going into my food was refreshing. The food was absolutely amazing. Decided to take my grandma out for dinner and thought that the Diana would provide enough variety to keep us all happy (grandma as well as our young children).
We had an earlier reservation, but even as the restaurant got busier, the service was good and attentive.
Our girls decided on the cheesy pasta (kids option). It came super quick and was served at an appropriate temperature for them to dig in immediately. So many restaurants place piping hot food in front of kids. I also ordered a side of steamed broccoli for the girls.
While my kids gobbled it up, my only suggestion is that they work on it a bit. Seemed a little bit like pasta in milk with shredded cheese. But, as I said, my kids gobbled it up.
I had calamari and a greek salad (both appetizers), my husband had the lamb medallions, grandma had the halibut and her partner had the vegetable pasta. Everyone enjoyed their meals.
The Diana offers an amazing variety (greek salad, pasta, steak, curries, etc) and we continue to go there as our default Guelph restaurant. In fact, we will be going back there for breakfast tomorrow morning with more family! Their chai is delicious! :)

I work in customer service, so I understand that things don't always go as planned. It is how an establishment deals with their mistakes that really shows how good they are , in my humble opinion.
We go to Swiss Chalet all the time, the food is always hot and delicious and up to the Swiss Chalet Standard, the service is usually pretty good, quick for sure and the restaurant smells good and is clean.
We often order take out from this location, and we have had a few problems, orders not being filled correctly, no gravy for the poutine, little things like that. One time we ordered and they called back 30 minutes later to tell us there was a snow storm and the delivery person went home!
Needless to say I complained. I got a personal response from the Manager appologizing for our bad experience and comping us for two 1/4 chicken dinners! WOW, I thought that was just great. I get that mistakes are made, but I have never had anyone take responsibility and compensate me so quickly and politely! Since then we have ordered a few times and we haven't had anymore problems.

Whenever our family can't decide on a restaurant we are always willing to fall back on casey's. You can always expect great food, friendly service and if you don't pay attention to the random decor the atmosphere is nice and very family friendly. Fair prices and an average wait. It may not be over-the-top spectacular but it is a good meal especially if you have cooked all week and need a break.

My 5 star rating is for the food and service. Romero's isn't a fancy place but the food is delicious Authentic Italian made from scratch. Great value for a delicious meal. The service is excellent too. You may need to request your red wine be chilled for a few minutes. It was a warmer than ideal temp.

I have been to this location several times in the last few weeks and overall there has been great consistency.
Service was excellent and the pasta was outstanding! On Fridays you receive unlimited bread or salad, and it tastes great!

I plugged in "diner" in YP search, because i wanted something quick an basic. Red House popped up, and I am so glad that it did! I was pricier than a diner but that was fine with me. It was reasonably priced and the quality of food makes it worth it! Service was excellent as well. I came for lunch (table for 1) but will definitely be back... Can't wait to try dinner and something from the extensive wine list! Red House is a gem that is tucked away but worth the find!!!

I have taken my 8 year old daughter there on several occasions for supper. Every time we eat well, are treated well and get to relax and actually enjoy each others company. I love how the staff makes my daughter feel special by remembering her, using her name, actually talking to her and listening to her answers. On top of all that the food is delicious and affordable. It is one of Guelphs hidden gems.
